Street Chopper Issue Party

On Sunday a few us went out to the Street Chopper issue release party in good ole Long Beach. It was held at the Pike restaurant and bar. I think it was a really good turnout with some quality bikes. These smaller meet and greets are fun since you get to hone in on a smaller number of bikes than becoming overwhelmed by a vase number of bikes and there builders at the larger events.

One bike and it's rider we honed in on was Jacob. He's been on a long journey since last September from Orlando, Fl.  Josh from Fat American Choppers build this 90' something Sportster drivin hardtail dubbed the High Plains Drifter. That name  is very apropo for the length of Jacobs journey through the nation.  With little money and thirst to seek adventure Jacob had many interesting story's to tell. The leather jacket he's holding is just one story in it's self.  In which he bought a buck hide and hand stitched the garment to protect him from the decreasing temperatures of Fall and winter.

Good luck Jacob in your travels.
