Gotta Have One; But a little too Rich for My Blood
I saw this on Lowbrow Morris Magneto YXS for Yamaha XS650
Model YXS, high performance magneto for the Yamaha XS650 by Morris Magneto. The YXS magneto bolts up to left side cam-end cup; no modifications needed. No battery or 12 volt system are needed for ignition, no wiring required aside for spark plug leads and a kill switch. This lets your stock charging system power only your lights, keeping the two systems totally separate. The magneto does not interfere with the spark plug, and it can be removed as usual with the magneto installed. The drive fits under the right side cam-end cover. Made in the USA.
CNC machined from 6061-billet aluminum, Morris Magnetos create high voltage from strong rare-earth magnets; the faster they turn the hotter the spark. Ideal for custom builds, magnetos save weight, wiring, a string of components, & amp; breakdowns.

Casper the Friendly Ghost
A week ago I went to New Orleans for a Convention. It was my first time in The Big Easy so I played tourist. While an evening out on the town I enjoyed a glass of the green fairy syrup Absinthe. The bitch of the bartender suggested I check out the back patio. While back there I tried to get artys fartsy with my iphone and take pics of this 200 year building and it's architecture integrity. Who knows if that's Casper on the top photo but as the hairs raised throughout my body I tried to duplicate the pic with different settings with out any luck. I must have taken 10 pics.

Stashed Race Model: 1980 Harley-Davidson XR750
Via Throttle Yard:
This 1980 Harley Davidson XR750 is offered by the original owner who supposedly driven up a down the street a few times when new then drained and stored for 30 years. It is in new condition, and still wears the factory decal declaring it a competition model not for road use. We love seeing these in any condition, but to find one brand spanking new is fantastic. Find it here on eBay in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Hunter S. Thompson
Via My Life at Speed
“But with the throttle screwed on there is only the barest margin and no room for mistakes. It has to be done right . . and thats when the strange music starts, when you stretch your luck so far that the fear becomes exhilaration and vibrates along your arms. You can barely see a hundred; the tears blow back so fast that they vaporize before they get to your ears. The only sounds are the wind and the dull roar floating back from the mufflers. You watch the white line and try to lean with it . . . howling through a turn to the right, then to the left and down the long hill to Pacifica . . . letting off now, watching for cops, but only until the next dark stretch and another few seconds on the edge . . . The Edge . . . ” – Hunter S. Thompson, Hells Angels
