Here are a couple of shots I stole from Kemosabe and the Lodge blog. My good buddies Michael and Ted rode all the way down from the Bay area to come down for the Born Free show. That's Michael sitting with his 73' FXE. On the way down they stopped in Santa Barbara and could not find a hotel any where since it was graduation weekend. Every motel, hotel holiday innnn was booked. They anticipated on making down to Ventura to hopefully score a motel room somewhere. Unfortunately, while making a mandatory pit stop for a beer at The James Joyce in downtown SB Ted's bike broke down. To make a short story even shorter they ended up sleeping in the cold bar parking lot. The next morning Ted grabbed a Uhaul and Michael rode the rest of the way. They finally met up with me in the LBC. Those 2 guys got only 2hours of sleep and were zombies the whole show. Michael had to jam back to S.F the next morning. Just 1 hour away from his house his header pipe came loose on the highway. Luckily he retrieved it and called a tow truck. Ultimately those two have great stories to tell of there journey.
